The SCAMP Framework Vol.6: Invisible World, Stadiums, Voice, Medicine and Dance Prompts

Each Vol.6 genre uses the SCAMP framework differently. Here is how to write cinematic prompts for the most original collection yet.

The SCAMP framework — Subject, Camera, Atmosphere, Mood and Palette — applies to every genre in every volume. But Vol.6's five genres each require a specific approach. These are the most visually demanding genres in the collection, and the visual specificity is what makes them cinematic.

Invisible World: Scientific Language and Scale Reference

Name the specific scientific process and include a scale reference. "Bacteria dividing" becomes "bacteria dividing, each one smaller than the wavelength of visible light, the process visible only through the technology that extends human perception beyond its natural limit."

Mycelium threads connecting the root systems of three separate oak trees, the network visible in a cross-section of forest soil, the signals moving between trees measurable in real time. Macro underground cross-section. Hidden intelligence, forest as single organism, signals in the dark.

Stadiums: Name the Hour and the Specific Sport

The specific hour transforms the stadium. 5am is the groundskeeper. 2pm is the media. 6pm is the arriving crowd. 10pm is the post-match ritual. And the specific sport determines the specific visual language of the space.

A cricket ground at 7am, the groundskeepers rolling the pitch before play, the day's story not yet written, the surface being prepared for events that have not yet happened. Wide morning, cricket ground. Preparation before story, surface ready for what comes.

Voice Storytelling: The Audience Is Half the Story

Describe the audience receiving the story with as much specificity as the performer giving it. The child's face at the climax. The village going quiet. The specific silence that falls when a master storyteller finds their rhythm.

A professional storyteller watching the face of a child as the story reaches its climax, the pure reception visible in the child's complete absorption, the storyteller seeing the story arrive. Intimate close, audience child. Pure reception, story arriving, the face that holds it.

Medicine: Time Is Always a Character

In medicine and emergency, time is always a character. Name the specific duration: the 90 seconds before the cardiac arrest team arrives. The six months of rehabilitation. The three minutes of preparation before the trauma patient arrives.

A trauma surgery team with three minutes before a critical patient arrives, the preparation visible in the systematic check of every element, the readiness that must exist before the emergency enters the room. Clinical documentary, three minutes. Three minutes before, readiness made visible.

Dance: Specify the Micro-Moment

Dance prompts are most powerful when they identify the specific micro-moment. Not the jump — the peak of the jump. Not the spin — the moment before the spot. Not the fall — the point of no return before the fall. The micro-moment is where the art lives.

A ballet dancer at the peak of a grand jeté, the moment of maximum extension in both directions simultaneously, the physics of the position requiring strength and understanding held together. Ultra slow motion, peak. Maximum extension, physics and beauty, held together.
